Lately we have participated in EOTC week. It is a week of trips, scary experiences and fun. We went to:
Orakei Marae
I thought Orakei Marae was a good experience because we learnt the haka and bits of maori history from the tribe Ngati whatua. I didn't like it because half the time they spoke in maori and I couldn't understand them. A challenge for me was learning the haka because I would lose focus and do an action wrong.
Tree adventures
I thought tree adventures was mean because combined my two favorite things together; obstacle courses and heights. I didn't like it because... well to be honest it wasn't bad at all.
Orienteering
I thought orienteering was fun because I learnt how to read a map and interact and debate in my group. I didn't like it because it was too hot and I ran out of energy on the first course.
Wave Pools
I thought the wave pools were cool because there was a beast hydro slide and pretty good waves in the main pool. I didn't like it because the wait for the hydro slide took at least 5 mins but once you got up it was great.

Every 3rd week we do a fab programme called Garden to table. We are divided into groups and alternate being in the garden and cooking. At the end we all come together and have a big feast! For recipes, go to the recipes page in g2t page!

Recently I was in the kitchen making tomato, potato and silverbeet curry along with flatbreads and cheesecake.

Recently I was in the garden transporting bricks from the junior side to the senior side in a tiny trolley. At the end I was exhuasted!!!!!!! For the feast we had Kumura wedges with garlic aoli. We had a silverbeet salad and for dessert we had chocolate pudding!!!!
